The reason for my quite significant amount of anger: Harddisk crash in a very physical way, the damn read/write heads scraped half my disk open.
Result: data is irrecoverable, which includes all my recent work on every single story I have in progress.
Luckily, the damage is relatively limited, only about 1k words for Dawn and Nine-Tailed, but with around 3k for Weaver's Diary.
Still, it's something that I'd rather not see again.


EDIT: Heh, just got myself a new HD, a one TB Western Digital external HD, YAY!!

Not really, it's just that the read/write arm lowered itself onto the surface of the hard drive, while it was spinning.
Result, massive scratching along the entire thing :s

well, except for the fanfics, the loss of data is acceptable
but of course, it's a major bummer that I just lost quite a bit of work on Weaver's Diary especially :s
